Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission issued the "Guidelines for the Construction of Public Charging Networks in Shanghai," which proposes that based on the match between the supply and demand sides of charging infrastructure, the entire city will be gridded and divided into "development zones," "maintenance zones," and "regulation zones," guiding the orderly development of public charging facilities in each zone. In "development zones," third-party charging operation enterprises are encouraged to moderately advance the construction of public charging facilities by leveraging parking spaces in parks, green spaces, scenic areas, hotels, hospitals, shopping malls, transportation hubs, parking lots (garages), as well as idle land and vacant factories, to develop high-quality public charging stations.
